Terms of use

Creator Marketplace is run by Creator Marketplace (the platform). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

What the platform is

The platform introduces brands and creators and carries their deal: the agreement, the funding of the fee with a licensed payment aggregator, approval of the work, payout, invoices and tax certificates. The platform is not a party to the creative work and does not guarantee results.

Money

The brand funds the agreed fee plus the platform fee before work starts. The money is held by the payment aggregator, not by the platform. It is released to the creator within 48 hours of the brand approving the live post, or automatically 72 hours after the post is submitted if the brand does not respond. Platform fees are shown before a deal is accepted.

Taxes

The platform acts as e-commerce operator: it deducts TDS under section 194-O and collects GST TCS under section 52 from the creator's proceeds and issues the certificates. Each party is responsible for its own taxes.

Disclosure

Every paid post must carry the agreed disclosure label upfront, as the ASCI Influencer Advertising Guidelines and the Consumer Protection Act 2019 require. The platform may refuse a post that does not.

Disputes

Either side may raise a dispute on the platform before payout. Ajay Shankar, Founder decides within 15 days. Either side may then go to mediation. These terms are governed by the laws of India.

Accounts

One account per person or business. The platform may suspend accounts that misrepresent themselves, do not pay, do not deliver, or move a deal off the platform to avoid its terms.
